The famous corpse flower is renown for having the largest inflorescence in the world

It’s no secret that Nepenthes spathulata is one of our favorite species

The female parent is a beautiful clone of ventricosa Madja-as while the male is a singalana x rafflesiana which we've always loved for possessing a lot of rafflesiana characteristics while growing at cooler temperatures

It would make an excellent candidate for a terrarium

It has a compact growth habit and produces red topped pitchers mottled in white

Nepenthes veitchii (Murud Striped x Candy), Specimen E collection The famous corpse flower isThis plant was bred by Christian Klein, the famous German nurseryman with one of the world's best veitchii collections. The cross was done between a striped veitchii from the Kelabit Highland and an extremely squat, pink variety with candy striped peristome. Each of the offspring is a genetically distinct individual and the traits range across the siblings. All photos here are the exact plant for sale. The plant should flower in the next year given
