Polished Mookaite slab MK462 snakeskin jasper also known as Ashburton AgateMK462. Mookaite slab, cut and polished on one side. Dimensions at widest points approx. 155 mm x 70 mm x 9 mm. thick. Weighs 239 grams. The interesting cylindrical cavities are all that remain of fossil belemnites which were a squid like creature with a tapering torpedo or bullet shaped body.
