Shinobazu ike (Shinobazu Pond, Tokyo) Cherry blossoms Artist's signature "Koichi - ga"Beautiful print "Shinobazu ike" (Shinobazu Pond, Tokyo) is by very famous French artist Noel Nouet (1885 1969). This print is one of Nouet's most popular series "Tokyo Fukei" (Scenery of Tokyo) by Doi publisher. The gentle lights through Shoji (Japanese washi paper windows), the reflection of light on the water, and two little stars on the sky add a heartwarming atmosphere. Dated 1936. This is later print.
