each imbued with that vein that seemed to run through all the New Glasgow Boys’ painted figures in the 1990s
his incredible rendering of The Mabinogion that really astounded me
It had a fantastic painting of a sea dragon on the sleeve
The painted shells typically have red or green stripes and I went with red
